• Email Address & Display Name: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and display name to identify your account and manage your credits balance.
• Screen Recordings: Your recordings are stored locally on your device in your browser's IndexedDB. We do not upload or access your recordings unless you explicitly use the MP4 conversion feature.
• Credits & Transaction History: We track your credit balance and purchase history for the premium MP4 conversion feature.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide authentication and identify your account
• To manage your credits balance for MP4 conversions
• To process MP4 video conversions when you request them
• To send notifications when conversions are complete

Data Storage

• Local Storage: Screen recordings, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Cloud Storage: Account information and credits are stored securely in Google Firebase.
• Temporary Processing: When converting to MP4, your video is temporarily uploaded, converted, and immediately deleted from our servers.

Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In: For authentication
• Firebase: For secure data storage
• Stripe: For payment processing (we never see your card details)

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Share your data for advertising purposes
• Use your data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's functionality
• Access your recordings without your explicit action

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage (Firebase), and OAuth 2.0 authentication.

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your local recordings at any time through the extension
• Sign out to remove your authentication from the extension
• Contact us to request deletion of your account data

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the extension or by updating the "Last updated" date.
